Omurice - Beef Katsu!
Fluffy egg omelette, tomato sauce fried rice, with a crispy katsu means a delightful saucey experience. A dish that is a delight to view at with the variety of colours and variety of textures once you add a katsu to it. Whilst you may not be familiar with a tangy demi-glace sauce, it is slightly sweet and sour, with a touch of richness from the onions that round up as a delicious sauce to go with rice.
Koto Sanpo is where it is to have that classic western Japanese experience - somewhere where that craving hits, you know you’ll have a great time. Most katsu places don’t stray from the classic pork or chicken variations - but beef here works for me by balancing well with the sauce and fluffy omelette egg cloud. Each bite craving for more until the plate was clean.
